Grow 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Grow Yoga Teacher Training (GYTT) is based on the standards set by the Yoga Alliance, a national registry for yoga teachers. Grow has a certificate of registration as a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with the Yoga Alliance and meets and exceeds the national educational standards of the Yoga Alliance at the 200 Hour level.
Course Overview: The program is module based and the hours are carefully calculated in each area in accordance with the requirements of the Yoga Alliance. The program is designed to be completed within 6 months, however, participants are required to complete the number of hours in each category in order to receive a certificate of completion which is necessary to register with the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). Our program is flexible in order to accommodate "special circumstances" that are approved by the school's director in advance. These circumstances will be reviewed on a case by case basis and all efforts will be made bu the director to work with the student to make up missed work/modules. Excessive absenteeism could result in failure to complete the course. No refunds will be given under these circumstances.
In addition to attendance of the set dates for training, students must maintain a regular yoga practice by attending yoga classes conducted by a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), complete the required reading, homework assignments and practicums. Graduates will receive a certificate denoting successful completion of Grow Yoga Teacher Training by demonstrating comprehension and mastery of the principles and practices of yoga as demonstrated in a comprehensive final exam as well as a graded practice class. The designation of "Registered Yoga Teacher" (RYT) can be applied for once all contact and non-contact hours are met as outlined by the Yoga Alliance.
